Our Aims
We believe that education is a partnership; a partnership between parents, the school staff, the community and pupils.
Within that spirit of partnership the school has five main aims ~
* to work together to provide a happy and secure, yet stimulating, environment where ALL feel valued.
* to appreciate that, as individuals and as a school, we have a responsibility to the wider community.
* to ensure that all pupils receive equal regard and access to a curriculum, including the National Curriculum, which is suited to their individual needs and encourages them to achieve their highest potential.
* to teach the fundamental skills of reading, writing, mathematics and thinking as a basis for the development of other areas of the curriculum, always striving to achieve the highest educational standards.
* to encourage polite and positive behaviour supported by fair, firm and consistent discipline.
